Based on years of extensive observation and proven research across a diverse, multi-generational population sample, there is but one universal food truth: people of all ages love ice cream! It’s a verifiable, certifiable fact.
And since July is National Ice Cream month, we thought we should remind you that Heartwood has the scoop on Homestead Creamery’s creamy, delicious ice cream, made right here in Southwest Virginia’s Franklin County.
All the milk at Homestead Creamery comes from two local farms, both in their third and fourth generations of family ownership. The milk is free of all hormones and antibiotics, and because the milk is sold in recycled glass bottles it tastes fresher longer and is more environmentally friendly. And so, it stands to reason, that their ice cream totally rocks. I’m personally indebted to my co-worker, Mary Lester, for making this reality known to me.
But don’t take our word for it. Come in and get a scoop or two or six and taste the difference yourself.
