Come for Cheap Gas; Stay for History, Romance, & Adventure!

I’ve been hearing about Wytheville’s renown for cheap gas ever since I moved here, but it really hit home during a recent training trip to Baltimore. I met a lady there from Charlotte, and when I told her where I was from, she said, “Wytheville has the cheapest gas! That’s where we always stop on our way up to Pennsylvania.”

I think it’s cool that Wytheville has that kind of top of mind awareness.

Wytheville is known for its cheap gas!

The next time you’re at the crossroads of Interstates 81 and 77, take the time to explore everything else this diverse locale has to offer. This Thursday, you’ll find a gathering of musicians, artisans, and entrepreneurs from the Town of Wytheville and Wythe and Bland Counties at Heartwood from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to tell you more.

Jim Lloyd

Among them, musicians Jim Lloyd, Ron Ireland, and Brady Dillow; artisans Amy Wickham, Martin & Linda Garthaffner, Jan Nielsen, Myra Moler, and Maxine Childers; agritourism destinations, Henley Mountain Berry Farm and Beagle Ridge Herb Farm, famed attraction Big Walker Lookout, and The Museums of Wytheville and other historic sites, like Wolf Creek Indian Village.
